p.s. does the question mark mean that you are puzzled by the title? I myself am amazed by the new meanings that are produced through the effort to write in english (i mean, not in greek in this case :) I think they are interesting, sometimes new meanings make the initial thoughts even richer!
siren, oppose the sun- i do not think it as a preference for darkness; but as an effort to resist to the strength than shuts your eyes when trying to look at the sun :)
