Ένα βουναλάκι αγριολούλουδα, το ίδιο αναλλοίωτα κι αμάραντα όσο μέσα στη σκέψη μας, τρέμει κάθε φορά που καταφέρνουμε να γίνουμε αέρας. Και να σκεφτεί κανένας ότι, με την προϋπόθεση να το θελήσουμε όλοι, μ π ο ρ ο ύ μ ε. Όπως μπορούμε να επεκταθούμε σε όλα τ' απέραντα τετραγωνικά της ηθικής που απλώνονται πέραν από ένα και αποτρόπαιο φευ, όπου μας έχει καθηλώσει μια πανάρχαια βλακεία, στην ανθεκτικότητά της πανίσχυρη.

    I also think it is an achievement to relate to people, to communicate. I think we (greeks) are losing this capacity, if we haven't lost it already.
    We just seem to do so, in most cases. Of course there is still fine friendship and love; these are personal achievements.
    It doesn't come from belonging to a nation, from living in a country.

    There were times that Greeks had this natural human touch, nobility and a great sense of hospitality, I hear. You can find some remains here and there. Still, we are mostly lost in the rapid way of change. We like to immitate in our attempt to adjust, to recover from our past.

    It is a new era, no doubt. Now, change comes from somewhere unknown, far away, we have no control, it has nothing to do with us, our needs, our hands and minds. We have to adjust.
