The only way to learn is to enter a world
and the entrance opens slowly-slowly through everyday experience.
It takes time.
Thinking and analysing and using one's mind comes at last
to conclude what one has already learned. This is not a part of the experience
which is gradually built to constitute the world we come to acknowledge as ours.
We start taking things for granted (reactions, beliefs, buildings, daylight, colors, sounds, everything)
This is our way to learn; not by mimicing or thinking through
but by entering a whole world with others.
That is why ancient Greeks would send their children to live with their teacher
and do everything together for years, to enter the new world of life (not as the parents knew it
but as the best of teachers could create) together- day by day.
