you said: in search of a window to look what surrounds us. it reminded me of the thought (hope i find the right words for it)that if you want to reveal something, it escapes if you use direct expression. only by surrounding it, you can make it visible. i used this once in my work. i imagined a room inside a room. that room was in shape of a heart, not organic, but it had 2 halls and 2 chambers/cells (in finnish it´s the same word). by surrounding it i used some contents of the 5 elements known from trad. chinese medicine. to make it visible- for me it was important that the atmosphere was pure, healing, mild and very, very tender. this i wanted to tell you :)
Now, i am the one who has to think in order to reply! I wish i had the time today, but it's a difficult day for me. Fortunately, conversations in blogs go beyond actual present time ;)

yes.. I couldn't say why (maybe it is the way our mind, or our languages work). That's a reason for our art, poetry and architecture - not just as a different kind of language, but as a surrounding, an indirect way of approaching, a means to reveal as you said.

so, we embrace what we need and care for and try to understand and what we try to find.. I like the image you created of surrounding very much. And also the moisture and tenderness make it delicate.
but, on the other hand, this is not always a delicate act. I mean that we might try to do this on a harsh way also, either because we are in need or because of what we think that the nature of what we try to reveal is (hard, harsh, urgent). Perhaps, then, it still escaps us... i wish i were able to give you an example..

Still, absent minded.. Sorry, these are days of unbearable duties and mental weariness.
