Hi Finn, I read your comment on Janis' blog about context and meaning, and followed the link. So much food for thought in your images and words.

you know, i like to, or try to, form one big unity out of tiny details. and try to form sentences. or i unravel an unity to see what it contains, what it´s made of. that´s what i basically do.
that´s what i thought when i looked at these photos.
plus, what a beam of light can do!

Francesca, I too read your comment on Janis'; it is great when we can discuss.
Thank you for being here and for your encouraging comment.

You know, Ritva, you do it very very well. I hear the syllables in your pictures. And then, I try to form my sentence with them.

Jane, thank you! These are from my grandmother's garden. Each time I visit her, she has rearranged the flowers and the vegetables, even the small trees. The land there, also because she spends half her day to watering, is so rich; she puts in a little seed and it grows to be a colorful healthy plant. She takes dry plants and she makes them alive again. She makes it seem so simple, but it is not. She knows so much about the seasons, the needs, she works hard, she likes the beauty but mostly she appreciates the utility she can harvest (the shadow, the beauty, the look of the green prosperity, the food, the gifts she can give out of her garden). Besides every flower, she grows an onion :)
